Postcard-Malbuch

The brush actually holds water well, so you can wet the paint and start sketching right on the card without it bleeding through. I painted a little landscape and dropped it in the mail—perfect for staying in touch on trips.

I picked this up as a unique gift for an arty friend, and the brush tip is actually quite fine—perfect for adding small details to a landscape. The paint mixes easily right on the card surface, and it’s fun to think my watercolor will travel through the mail.

I love that there’s six different watercolors, so I had plenty of shades to play with before mailing off my first card. Painting right on a postcard feels both creative and practical, especially since the brush fit right into the set for easy cleanup.
