I was skeptical at first whether the two halves would move together properly, but they sync up surprisingly well as it inches forward on my desk. Took a few tries to get the winding rhythm down, but now it’s a fun little distraction during calls.

Watching this little critter inch across my desk is oddly mesmerizing, the way its two halves move independently feels so lifelike. The engineering behind that segmented motion is just brilliant.

The little wire legs actually catch the floor just right to pull the back half forward — it's hypnotic watching the whole clumsy crawl cycle. Definitely takes a steady hand to wind, but the movement is worth the effort.
