Beethoven Kökstimer

I was skeptical a timer could make me smile, but hearing Fur Elise chime in while my sauce simmered genuinely made the whole cooking session feel like a little concert. It's loud enough to hear over the stove fan, which is a huge win in my kitchen.

I love that the timer plays actual Fur Elise instead of an annoying beep—it makes boiling pasta feel a little more elegant. The dial is satisfyingly clicky to turn, and the magnetic back holds tight to my fridge. Only wish the volume went a notch higher for noisy kitchens.

My kids now beg me to set this timer so they can hear Fur Elise start playing—it's become a little concert every time we bake. The tune is cheerful enough to keep me smiling while I'm stirring the sauce, and it's genuinely a pleasure to have in the kitchen.
