DIY Tambourine Kit

I painted the wood with my niece last weekend and the smooth surface took the acrylic really well. The jingles were easy to screw on and it actually makes a nice crisp sound for a kid's project.

My daughter spent an entire rainy afternoon painting her tambourine, and the smooth wood was perfect for little hands to decorate. The jingles are securely attached and the sound is surprisingly crisp for a DIY kit. We'll definitely be making this again for her friends' birthdays.

The unfinished wood held paint beautifully without any prep work, and all the pieces fit together snugly once dry. I was surprised how solid the finished tambourine feels for a craft project.
