First clove I tried crushed perfectly with just a few rocks back and forth, and the garlic slid right off the press into the pan. No sticky mess like my old metal press always left behind.

I’ve tried other garlic presses that leave a sticky mess, but this one is a breeze—just scrape the crushed bits straight into the pan. The back-and-forth motion works surprisingly well, and cleanup takes seconds with a quick hand-wash.

Back and forth motion is oddly satisfying — it breaks the clove down without smooshing it everywhere. The pieces scrape right into the pan, so cleanup is just a quick rinse under the tap. Exactly what I needed for weeknight cooking.
